Ski Case 2 - Great Quality

Well made and heavy duty to guaranteed that my 180cm and 191cm Skis are well protected. The handles are sturdy and comfortable. The wheels make it very easy to transport. I am very impressed with this product.

Ball release pin lock

In an earlier review, I replaced the clevis lock with a ball release pin. The supplied pin will do the job…. probably, but out of an abundance of caution, I fabricated up this device (see 3 attached photos):

Great Hard Case

I have been traveling for years on airlines using a soft case for two pairs of skis. The soft cases develop holes and are prone to ski damage.

This hard case is well constructed and most importantly is secure and sturdy - which protects skis during air travel. Additionally, since this is a hard case, airlines do not hold you responsible for damage or loss (like they do with a soft case). Overall great case, intuitive functionality, and very easy to use.

Good

The ski tube is very good. Compact, light weight, good handles, lock pin, and the wheels are perfect. Looks to be durable, time will tell.
Packing the skis with the bindings facing each other, becomes a little clumsy to put the straps on. The skis want to slip, slide, and flop around, but I expect that is with any tube style products. I found some pieces (blocks) of packing foam, cut to the thickness of the ski binding spacing and lay that between the skis, helps keep everything in place along with the straps.
