How do I return a case?

Cases purchased through our site may be exchanged or returned for refund with your original packing slip within 30 days of purchase. You must first contact our support team to arrange returns before you send them in. Steamboat reserves the right to decline any return or exchange where the product is not in "like-new" condition.

Good

The ski tube is very good. Compact, light weight, good handles, lock pin, and the wheels are perfect. Looks to be durable, time will tell.
Packing the skis with the bindings facing each other, becomes a little clumsy to put the straps on. The skis want to slip, slide, and flop around, but I expect that is with any tube style products. I found some pieces (blocks) of packing foam, cut to the thickness of the ski binding spacing and lay that between the skis, helps keep everything in place along with the straps.

Padding not glued well

The case appears solid and should protect the skis well. Unfortunately, the padding (intended to be glued to the ends) on arrival was already detached.

2-Pair Case

It is solidly well made and it worked great. The wheel made it a breeze to pull through the airport, and the handles are comfortable. Really very impressive product, and a great value.
My one complaint is that it won’t solidly hold 215cm skis - there isn’t enough overlap of the halves to prevent it opening like a clam shell. 200cm skis work fine, though.

Just took my case on a trip and all went swell. I would totally recommend it. the grab handles are a nice feature.

Safest way to transport ski equipment

Highly recommended. Just returned from a ski trip and this 3 ski hard case held up superbly despite the evidence of rough handling on the outside of the case by the airport staff. The skis were well protected inside without damage. Videos about packing the skis into the case were very helpful even though we were short a few rubber bands and velcro ties that were prompted shipped to us later. A bit on the heavy side and longer than others but easy to roll through the airport with it's sturdy handle and wheels. Customer service via email was excellent if not a bit delayed probably due to the holiday schedule.
